Training & Courses
Tala Training
Tala Training
Tala Training delivers professional training courses that customers increasingly research and book on their phones.
mtc designed and built a fast, mobile-friendly booking site, then ran an ongoing SEO and CRO strategy to turn the launch into a lasting growth channel.
The Challenge & Objective
Tala Training needed a modern, mobile-responsive website that clearly reflected their brand identity and made it easy for customers to browse and book training courses. The existing setup was not doing justice to the brand or the booking experience, and in a market where customers increasingly research and book on their phones, that was a direct barrier to growth.
The objective went beyond the launch itself. Once the new site was live, Tala needed a long-term strategy to build organic visibility, attract new customers, and strengthen loyalty through repeat bookings, turning a one-off web project into a sustained growth channel.
Our Solution
mtc designed and developed a fast, user-friendly site aligned closely with Tala’s brand and the practical needs of their customers. The priority was clarity: making course information easy to find and bookings easy to complete, on any device.
Once the site was launched, an SEO strategy was implemented to improve rankings for core industry training terms, building the organic visibility that brings a steady flow of new enquiries. CRO enhancements ensured that this visibility converted, with users able to quickly find the right course and complete a booking with minimal friction. Design, search, and conversion were treated as one continuous project rather than separate phases.
The Impact
By pairing a strong new site with an ongoing organic and conversion strategy, mtc helped Tala grow both new and returning customer segments and strengthen loyalty over time:
- +33% increase in customers
- +38% increase in returning customers
- +89% increase in total conversions

Insights
A new website is often treated as a finish line, when it is really a starting point. The build gets the attention and the budget, and then the site is left to fend for itself. Tala Training shows the value of the opposite approach: the launch was the foundation, and the growth came from the strategy that ran on top of it. Notably, returning customers grew faster than new ones, which is often the clearest sign of a healthy business.
As we look at the services and training landscape in 2026, there are three areas where a new site alone falls short. Taking our work for Tala as an example, here are the things to consider for your own booking or enquiry journey.
What we found by working on Tala Training:
A site launch is the beginning of growth, not the end. The 89% increase in total conversions came from the SEO and CRO work that followed the build. A well-designed site with no ongoing strategy tends to plateau quickly, because nothing is actively bringing new demand in.
Booking friction is a conversion killer. Making course information easy to find and bookings easy to complete is what turned improved visibility into actual customers. In a services business, every extra step between interest and booking is a place where enquiries quietly disappear.
Returning customers are the strongest signal of all. The 38% increase in returning customers, outpacing new customer growth, shows the experience was good enough to bring people back. Repeat bookings are the most profitable growth there is, because they carry almost no acquisition cost.
Some challenges for your own site:
If you launched a site in the last year or two, ask what has actively driven growth since. If the answer is nothing beyond the launch itself, you are likely sitting on a plateau that a modest ongoing strategy could break.
Time yourself booking your own most popular course or service, on a phone, as a first-time customer would. Count the steps and the moments of hesitation. Each one is a point where a real customer might give up.
Look at your split of new versus returning customers. If returning numbers are flat, the issue may not be acquisition at all, it may be that the experience does not give people a reason to come back.
Success for a training or services brand in 2026 is not just a good-looking website. Tala’s 89% conversion growth came from treating the launch as a foundation and building visibility, ease, and loyalty on top of it.
