Kafka was established in April 1990 with a vision to provide Aberdeen with globally sourced, high-quality menswear. Taking that vision online was made a reality when Kafka partnered with mtc in 2010. Going on that journey together, the business has grown exponentially and has become a "digital-first" retailer.

Our eCommerce platform provides Kafka with the cutting-edge features to keep them ahead in a fiercely competitive marketplace. Featuring integrations with the CyberTill EPOS as well as Apple Pay / Android Pay, SagePay / Stripe, AWS and PayPal mtc have all bases covered.

Smart Product Search

We built a custom search functionality within the shop which smartly finds categories and products for customers to find what they need more quickly and smoothly through their shopping experience.

Delivery Integrations

We integrate multiple integrations within the checkout to allow Kafkas patrons and customers to choose their preference of delivery courier. All delivery integrations are synced with the shop printers to allow the whole process for Kafka to be a quick and hassle free process online to door.

Streamlined Checkout

The checkout was bespoke designed and developed to fit the Patrons of Kafka Mercantile. With Stripe, Paypal and Apple Pay available, express and quick checkout was key to help boost overall conversion and sales.

Custom Size Guides

Buying clothing online is always hard so we built a custom size input system which allows Kafka to show multiple sizes specific to items to help their patrons get the right fit and have confidence in the brands and site.
